Many Aston Villa fans have been delighted on Twitter, after youngster Carney Chukwuemeka posted a photo of himself training as part of the first-team’s pre-season preparations.

Enjoying a sparkling 2020/21 season, the 17-year old recorded 14 goal contributions in 27 appearances combined, featuring for the Aston Villa first-team, Under-23s and Under-18 roster [Transfermarkt].

Making his mark at senior level, the Englishman made his debut for the Clarets at the tail end of last term in a 2-1 away victory at Tottenham Hotspur [BBC].

Now getting in shape for the new campaign, he has delighted supporters on social media after sharing an image of himself getting into shape with the senior set-up.
